Event Coverage
SACM has a group of students on staff through commonvision who are available to document your next event or idea. It is essential to capture the work we do, even if there isn’t an immediate application for the materials. Photos and video can be used at a later date for projects such as annual reports.

This service is free, subject to staff availability, and only available to areas that fall under the Division of Student Affairs at this time.
Pixilated Photo booth
Our Pixilated photo booth is a great option to have at events that allows for fun and team building. This service is free for areas that fall under the Division of Student Affairs; there is a fee for areas outside the Division. We can customize your start screen and frames to match the theming of your event. All subject to availability.

Portrait Photography
Need an official or updated UMBC portrait?
We are working with Melissa Penley Cormier, Research Graphics, whose office provides portrait services to the UMBC campus community. The portraits will be used for the website and each staff member will also receive a copy of the image file. Please share the folder and your preferred vertical and horizontal portrait options with SACM for our records.
The next step for you to receive a portrait is to follow the instructions on the information page of the Portraits website. While the regular front page of the site still says to please consider using a freelance photographer, the information page has a working Appointment Calendar for booking 15 minute sessions. Please read the information and tips and sign the release form before booking. Be sure to designate the Division of Student Affairs as the billing contact, as we have already sent billing information to them, and so we can access a copy for future marketing or publications.
