SACM offers assistance with website creation for areas that fall within the Division of Student Affairs. This service is free, as well as training on how to maintain your website after it is created. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Site creation within the UMBC sites template, or Google site if conditions permit
- Restructuring/reconfiguring of existing site material
- SEO (search engine optimization) practices
- Accessibility remediation and review to meet WCAG 2.1 AA requirements
- Asset creation, such as icons, header images, and supporting graphics
- Adding content, along with site edits – simple or complex
In addition to your website, SACM can assist in getting a myUMBC presence for your area up and running or reinvigorated.
Training must be completed before obtaining access to a website or myUMBC group. This ensures proper knowledge of accessibility guidelines as well as best practices.
